Maurice Kirya surprised his fans with a deep gospel song that shows off his amazing vocal abilities and his unique ‘mwoyo’ genre.

Nze Ani, complete with a captivating, yet simple video, is one of Kirya’s best works going by the depth of lyrics, music arrangement and maturity of the video.

In the song released from Game Over Yard studios, Kirya marvels at God’s goodness towards him, praising Him and giving Him his all in exchange for God’s abundant graces.

This is Kirya’s second attempt at gospel music after Misubbaawa seven years ago, which was another huge hit. Maybe the brother needs to go in that direction, because in the latest he channels Brian Lubega (Nungamya so well, especially considering that the latter has also just released Ndi Wuwe, another lyrical and vocal spectacle.

Nze Ani is already enjoying respectable broadcast airplay and the video has garnered close to 200k + views as of 2022.

With Nick Myers on piano and Jemimah Kisa and Sheeba Mwiza on background vocals, the song written and produced by Kirya also borrows from gospel geniuses including Sammy K (Sam Kiggundu) formerly with First Love.

Kirya may take his time unveiling new songs, but when he does, he knows how to make the bang resounding!
